Holiday Season Memories
The holiday means decorating, spending time with family members, the special offers given to you, and finding the perfect gift. On Christmas eve, we share our happiness, our laughter, and cheerfulness when we enjoy eating Christmas cookies. We celebrate that the feeling of joy with food and tradition, items like are mozzarella sticks, flan, cakes, gingerbread cookies, tamale, and hot cocoa drinks. In the living room, lights and stockings. One of my favorite parts of Christmas eve is telling everyone that we can open our presents at midnight. We were always allowed to open our gift by one person at a time. We choose one present under a tree. The moment we opened our gift, we will remember that memory.

Ode to My Mother
Always there,
as I needed you from the start.
A mother who cooks and
bakes would feed our lives.
We smile, we laugh,
together with keeping the family warm.
My mother is a sun
rising in the sky.
Happiness brings each moment
of you when we spend together.
You make me feel sorrowful
when tears are falling.
To all the things you did,
we are both thrilled.
I’m joyful
when I need some help.
Yet I know you are and always
would be there for
me forever.

80 Word Memoir
It was a Saturday morning, and the weather was warm. We arrived at Disneyland, and I looked around to see the cool rides.
“Did you eat breakfast before we left?” Mom asked Anais and me.
“Yes, we did mom,” we both replied.
Our favorite television characters, “Super Why!” came up to us and shook our hands.
We both smiled excitedly. The character Whyatt wanted to take a picture with us.
My mom got a fantastic photo of us with Whyatt.

Would you rather…?
Would you rather have 3 legs or 3 arms?
I would rather have 3 arms because I would be able to do more at the same time as carrying a lot of weight. It would be delightful for me to wash dishes quickly, hold more than three groceries bag, and easier to type. I would not have 3 legs because two legs are fine and having 3 sounds uncomfortable.
What do you think, would you rather have 3 legs or 3 arms?…
